DESCRIPTION:OpenUK Future Leaders talk by Patrick Masson\, the OSI and OSD\, 17th April 2020. \nPatrick Masson joined the Open Source Initiative as General Manager after working in higher education for over twenty years\, including roles as Director of the UCLA Media Lab\, CIO within The State University of New York and\, CTO at the University of Massachusetts’ Office of the President. \nAs GM\, Patrick manages all aspects of the OSI’s operations\, membership\, advocacy\, development\, and serves as an ex officio member of the OSI Board of Directors. \nPatrick is an Adjunct Professor at the University at Albany\, teaching Open Source Principles and Practices within the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences\, and serves on Brandeis University’s Graduate Professional Studies Advisory Board. Patrick was elected to his local Board of Education in 2014.
