He has two decades of experience of verifying and validating complex systems\, ranging from challenger banks to critical national infrastructure. He has been working on AI standardisation projects for five years with ISO/IEC and CEN/CENELEC. \nAlex Davies Jones \n \nAlexandra Davies-Jones is a Welsh politician serving as Member of Parliament for Pontypridd since 2019. A member of the Labour Party\, she is Shadow Minister for Tech and Digital Econonmy. \nChris Yiu \n \nChris Yiu is Director of Public Policy at Meta\, where he leads the company’s public policy teams across Northern Europe. Meta operates a range of apps including Facebook\, Instagram and WhatsApp\, produces the Meta Quest line of VR devices\, and is pioneering an open approach to AI and innovation. He is also a non-executive director of the Tony Blair Institute\, an advisor at the David Hume Institute\, and a trustee of the ENABLE Group. \nAmanda Brock \n \nAmanda Brock is CEO of OpenUK\, the UK organisation for the business of Open Technology. A lawyer of 25 years’ experience\, she previously chaired the Open Source and IP Advisory Group of the United Nations Technology Innovation Labs\, sat on the OASIS Open Projects\, Initiative and UK Government Energy Sector Digitalisation Task Force Advisory Boards and was an elected Board Member of the Open Source Initiative. She was General Counsel of Canonical for 5 years from 2008 and set up and ran their legal function. Amanda is an appointed member of the Cabinet Office’s Open Standards Board; Member of the British Computer Society Inaugural Influence Board; Advisory Board Member Mimoto; and European Representative of the Open Invention Network.
