DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday 23 April for our 13th OpenUK London community meetup! We’re helping each other find work and our next colleagues! Open source does not have to be unpaid work! \n6:30 pm: Arrive\, grab a bev\, a slice and a chat. Scope out our swag table (bring pieces to contribute or trade!)\nCheck out and add to our Giant Job Board! Please print any awesome roles you know that are available in the UK or remote on an A4 and bring it. Bonus if you include a QR code! Recruiters and hiring managers are welcome – we’ve a great community you should hire from! \n7:00 pm: Panel discussion on the different kinds of paid work opportunities with open source and how people can turn volunteer contributions into their next paid gigs. How do you contribute relevant OSS work that will help you get your next job? Bring questions! This will not be recorded so it’s a safe space for everyone.\nPanelists include:\nIsabelle Fernandes\, recruiter\, Avanade\nRobert Hutchinson\, career coach\nAdam Sowter\, founder/recruiter\, Evantis Technology \n7:30 pm: Afsha is going to share the amazing work that the non-profit CodeYourFuture is doing and how you can get involved! \n7:40 pm: Speed Networking!
