SUMMARY:Open Source Community Matters
DESCRIPTION:Matt has spent most of the last 20 years building products and services around open source software\, on everything from embedded devices to large scale distributed systems\, in companies ranging from startups to global enterprises. Most recently he has been focused on the open cloud infrastructure space\, and in emerging patterns for cloud native applications. Matt is a regular speaker at conferences across the world\, including FOSDEM\, Open Infrastructure Summit and All Things Open\, a past winner of the OpenStack Outstanding Community Contributor award\, and has served on program committees for several international conferences\, including OpenStack Summits and MesosCon. At D2iQ Matt leads the company’s open source and community efforts\, including the Open Source Program Office and worldwide developer advocacy.
