Green Digital Declaration

OpenUK is a Signatory to the COP29 Green Digital Declaration launched on 16 November 2024 in Baku.

OpenUK tabled an Addendum to the Declaration known as “The OpenUK Addendum” which reads “We recognise the need for open technologies, as digital public goods, to underly the Digital Declaration and support our green digital future.”

Why not support the world’s first Green Digital Declaration launched at COP29 Saturday, with 1000 organisations and 100 countries endorsing it at launch, and OpenUK’s addendum calling for the GDD to be based on open technology? It isn’t too late to add your voice and for your organisation to endorse both the Declaration and OpenUK Addendum.

To endorse it, email: digitalisation@cop29.az with a statement along the lines of: “We [Organisation name] wish to endorse the Green Digital Declaration as a signatory and also to sign up to the OpenUK Addendum to the Declaration.”
