OpenUK’s Policy engagement spans all areas of open tech. This work is led by CEO and Chief Policy Officer, Amanda Brock, with support from Dr Jennifer Barth, our Chief Research Officer, a Policy Advisory Board and number of subject matter Advisory Boards made up of deep subject matter expertise, with a unique engagement at the intersection of business, technology and research/ academia.OpenUK engages with UK and international organisations and is a Member or Friend of all key Open Tech bodies. We offer opportunities for community engagement, and for UK based individuals to represent OpenUK on these organisations. Topics covered across our Policy remit and Boards reflect the key challenges of digital and tech.
OpenUK AI Policy Day
This event will bring together 100 leaders in London to dive deep into AI challenges in 2026, with AI openness as a cross topic. Participants will be technologists, business people, policy wonks, regulators, parliamentarians and politicians.
