Chris is the Head of Architecture & Strategy in Avanade’s Office of the CTO – ensuring Avanade and their clients are future-ready for new and next transformative technologies. This includes enterprise architecture design for AI and strategic initiatives such as rolling out Generative AI in Avanade’s Software Development Lifecycle.

Before a segue into data, analytics, and emerging technologies, Chris started his career working in local government, and at the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Outside Avanade, Chris is a Microsoft MVP in AI, vice-chair of the Green Software Foundation, and is currently completing his doctorate in Data Science.
