Jim studied science and law at Cambridge, a combination of skills that enabled him to become an early specialist in internet law. A veteran of many of the UK and Australia’s leading domain name disputes, Jim is very experienced in a broad range of IP and company law. A practicing solicitor, he is also a former director of Nominet, the not-for-profit .uk domain registry.

Jim brings that combination of knowledge and sprightly old age to OpenUK as our Company Secretary, ensuring we maintain the highest level of corporate governance.
