Michael is the Chief Legal and Chief Product Officer at Aalyria Technologies, a spin-out from Google. He serves on the advisory board of the Earth Space Sustainability Initiative.

Michael was previously a product manager and Head of Open Source at Meta (fka Facebook), where he led the team and defined the vision, strategy, and execution for open source products, programs, and partnerships at Meta.

He has deep expertise in technology leadership having served as a board director at the Linux Foundation, Zephyr Foundation, Magma Foundation, Open Infra Foundation, Presto and GraphQL.
