Katie is a cloud native leader, practitioner, and contributor. As a senior cloud platform engineer, Katie has contributed to the infrastructure buildout for large, multinational organizations while embracing cloud native principles and technologies, including Kubernetes. Within the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) landscape, she undertakes the role of a Technical Oversight Committee member, steering the technical vision of the ecosystem.

Recently, Katie released the Cloud Native Fundamentals course and led the creation of the CNCF KCNA (Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate) certification. Additionally, Katie is an active keynote public speaker, a #TechWomen100 winner, and a strong advocate for women in STEM.
