Chris is currently an independent consultant, providing servers around Sales & Solutions Engineering, and Product Management. A big part of what he works on is helping folks explain and understand technology and technology concepts (such as open source) in different ways. This helps bring the human element and business impact understanding into both sales, and product building. Stories and storytelling is a big part of this.

Chris spent many years in the infrastructure world, specialising in storage and virtualisation, before moving to cloud and then cloud-native technologies. More recently he spends time on the more human side of technology. What precious spare time is left he spends with his family and dog — Jabba the Mutt. He was once awarded “Employee of the Month” at Harry Ramsden’s world famous Fish & Chip restaurant.
