Carla has been managing events and communities since 2011, beginning with experimental music festivals before moving into tech, where she found her passion. Over the years, she has produced conferences, virtual events, meetups, webinars, and hackathons. Previously at Container Solutions, she led initiatives like “WTF is Cloud Native” and “Software Circus.” She now focuses on Cilium and eBPF at Isovalent, part of Cisco. Carla also helps organise KCD UK, serves as a CNCF and OpenUK Ambassador, and chaired the CNCF Marketing Committee from 2022 to 2024. She loves green tea, Japan, and creative pursuits including art, music, cinema, philosophy, and fashion.
