Giuseppe is a Senior Civil Servant. As Deputy Director for Innovation Strategy at HMRC’s Chief AI Office, he provides strategic direction to transformative AI solutions. Previously DWP’s Deputy Director for Data Enablement, Giuseppe led a 200-strong agile division operating national-scale data products.

In 2020, Giuseppe launched the UK’s first public AI incubator, the NHS AI Lab’s Skunkworks & Deployment programme.
A data activist by background, he supported the UK Government’s open data agenda as member of the Open Data User Group, and was Head of Data at the Department for Transport. He writes the data newsletter “Quantum of Sollazzo”.
