Dan is the founder and CEO of Nimble Ape and Everycast Labs, and the organiser of CommCon – Europe’s premier RTC and Open Media event.

With over a decade spent knee-deep in real-time communications, Dan has helped open source projects, businesses, and developers turn their interactive media ideas into reality. From WebRTC to VoIP to voice AI, he’s worked across the full stack of technologies that power how we talk to each other online.

These days he’s focused on AI-powered voice infrastructure — building voice agent pipelines on top of real telephony systems — alongside Broadcast Bridge, a tool that makes it simple to bring remote presenters and guests into livestreams and productions. He’s also an editor of the WHEP specification at the IETF, helping shape the open standards behind modern media delivery.

He used to build LEGO. Now he just builds the things LEGO was practice for.
