Xavier is an engineering manager at Bloomberg in London, working on distributed identity data platforms built on open-source technologies. Over 15 years, he’s led engineering teams across London, Paris, and Canada, shipping e-commerce platforms, loyalty systems, and financial analysis tools at companies from startups to Shopify. A graduate of Ecole Centrale Paris, he got his start building financial software before moving into platform engineering and leadership. He cares about open source not just as a technology choice but as a way of working.
