Beyond his day job, Joseph is an active member of open-source and tech communities in Wales, including Tech for Good Cymru and FOSS Wales. His passion for openness extends to the broader open web and open knowledge landscape — he is a Wikipedia editor of 20 years, a moderator at Toot.wales, and a former Wikimedia UK trustee.
