Global AI Impact Summit, 16-20 February 2026, New Delhi
CEO, Amanda Brock, is a Keynote Attendee on the summit website, whilst Professor Anil Madhavapeddy will lead the hackathon at IIT jointly organised with FOSSUnited and the BharatAIMission. We will be hosting and partnering on events in the Main summit and the Fringe across the week, with representatives of a number of our international partners and local community supporting our workshop and events. We hope to see international attendees and the Indian Open Source communities engaging and supporting our events.
We have been working for 6 months to secure their engagement with the Impact Summit. Information on our events and how to register for the main summit is set out on this web page, along with a link to a calendar of all open source events across the summit provided by Mozilla.
You will also find our past India AI Openness Report, our Paris AI Action Summit 2025 AI Openness Report, and on the 20th of February, we will share our Impact Summit AI Openness Report.

AI Openness Reports
We will be sharing a report on AI Openness at the AI Impact Summit on 20th February as the Summit draws to a close. This, like our 2025 report from the AI Action Summit in February, will benefit from our attendance across the event and engagement with the open source community and leadership attending the Impact Summit and Fringe events in New Delhi

Collaborating with local open technology communities, enterprises and policy organisations across India, OpenUK and its new sister organisation OpenHQ will raise awareness of AI openness ahead of the Indian AI Impact Summit in February 2026, in Delhi. This will continue the conversation opened by Prime Minister Modi in his opening speech at the Paris AI Action Summit in 2025, when he mentioned the need for “access for all” to AI through “open source” AI.
This will be done through AI Openness reporting and a series of 4 pulbic events across India in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi, and a high level invite only roundtable in Delhi in August 2025.
We also plan future reporting and a fringe event around the AI Impact Summit.
We continue to onboard further sponsors and partners. To be part of this contact mailto:admin@openuk.uk
Thanks in particular to Divya Mohan, Rohit Ghumare and Kunal Kushwaha, for so much hard work.
