Global AI Impact Summit, 16-20 February 2026, New Delhi
OpenUK is an active participant supporting the India AI Impact Summit, and its CEO, Amanda Brock, is a Keynote Speaker and attending the Global Leaders event on 19 and 20 February. We will be hosting and partnering on Fringe events across the week, and Amanda and Anil Madhavapeddy will be speaking at a number of events. We will share a list of these and a list of the many open source events happening across the event. OpenUK and its sister organisation OpenHQ have been working with the Indian Open Source communities to engage and support them in their engagement with the Impact Summit.

Official Pre-Summit Event of the AI Impact Summit 2026
Collaborating with local open technology communities, enterprises and policy organisations across India, OpenUK and its new sister organisation OpenHQ will raise awareness of AI openness ahead of the Indian AI Impact Summit in February 2026, in Delhi. This will continue the conversation opened by Prime Minister Modi in his opening speech at the Paris AI Action Summit in 2025, when he mentioned the need for “access for all” to AI through “open source” AI.
This will be done through AI Openness reporting and a series of 4 pulbic events across India in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi, and a high level invite only roundtable in Delhi in August 2025.
We also plan future reporting and a fringe event around the AI Impact Summit.
