Dear Readers,
Greetings from a hugely successful week in Delhi, where open source has been across the Summit agenda. You can see more about the conversations in the Main Summit events and Fringe. With dozens of events and hundreds of speakers covering open source and public good we have only been able to bring you a snapshot of individual events, reports shared at the summit and releases made. I also attended the 19th February Leaders Day and have captured the conversations from this and picked up on the progress made since Paris. Ā We hope for the many UK people who didnāt make the Summit that this will help to keep you up to date on key topics.

We were delighted to see the UK AI Minister, Kanishka Narayan, MP announce that the āUK will be the home of open source AIā and to have worked with him and some of our community – David Soria Parras, Kunal Kushawa, Dr Laura Gilbert, CBE, Matt Barker, and Sal Kimmich to bring this video together for the Summit and to share this with an audience of 1200 attendees at the High Commission party hosted by UK High Commissioner to India Lindy Cameron, and to launch this with Kanishka and I speaking.

The work we have done in India over the last few months has been important and engaged the local communities to have a true impact on open source. Making this kind of impactful change is a constant and gradual process. We are supporting change one step at a time. We have already begun to consider the next summit taking place in Geneva in 2027.
We will have a brief break after all the hard work before attending Mobile World Congress in early March, and look forward to sharing more of our work from it.
Best wishes,
Amanda
