Charlie is Head of Legal at Wayve, an embodied AI company pioneering a new era for automated driving. Over the last 15 years, Charlie’s career in IP and technology law has involved her advising businesses of all stages, from large corporates to start-ups and scale-ups, on the protection, enforcement, commercialisation and operation of software and AI across many industries, including telecoms, medical, financial services, electronics, and robotics. Through this work, Charlie has built up many years of experience advising on the use of free and open source software, and she has helped multiple business navigate the issues that arise around open source software when going through M&A or investment rounds.
