Chief Technologist for Public Sector at Red Hat, based in the UK, defining strategy for government customers.  Leading initiatives on Removing IT costs and complexity in the modern Data Centre, around Technology as a Platform (GaaP, DaaP, IaaS, PaaS) and future vision through SMART Cities and Blockchain/DLT.
After beginning in Mainframe Operations and Management, Adrian spent 10 years at Sun Microsystems within the various software companies and Divisions.
Following Sun, Adrian joined the Outsourcer Attenda as Head of Pre-Sales and Consulting before joining Novell/SUSE to be the Data Centre lead for Consulting. In 2008 joined HP to lead the Sun Replacement strategy in the UK leading a joined up approach with services to allow customers to move off expensive and legacy systems on to more modern, business driven solutions. From 2012 with Red Hat leading work with the UK Government (Central & Local) on their journey to Open Source, Open Standards, Open Architectures and Open Data.
