Damian Bemben is a senior software engineer at Ada Mode, where he is building human-in-the-loop AI for the civil nuclear sector, and the founder of make~ Southampton, a regular community tech meet-up bridging tech, arts & business. His open source work focuses on making AI understandable across disciplines. Recent open work includes an AI analyser of cancelled UK renewable projects, a cleaned dataset of British energy projects and a generator of optimistic urban re-development, documenting the build processes publicly. He is currently developing a community-maintainable heritage AR framework alongside local organisations, focused on making creative tech open.
