Open Data Manager and AI Lead, The National Library of Wales

Jason is currently the Open Data Manager and AI Lead at The National Library of Wales where he has spent the last ten years advocating and implementing Open Access with a particular focus on developing linked open data for library content. In this role he has delivered a number of projects to increase availability and engagement with Welsh language open data. Jason leads the library’s Innovation Lab, driving the use of new technologies and developing AI policy and training programmes. He is also an elected member of Europeana’s Members Council and chair of the Europeana Impact Steering Group.
