Dr Lisa Murphy is a Technology Lead at the Wellcome Trust, where they manage a portfolio across data infrastructure, AI development and translation of digital innovations into real world applications. A former clinician, they are driven to centre equity and representation into their programmes’ design, and ensure outputs contribute to a knowledge commons across science. Currently they are interested in how we can evolve research and development funding models for open source software and sustainable development.
