Maria Skampoura is Founder & CEO of Developable Ltd. Named in the OpenUK 2026 Honours List, Maria believes the rapid advancement of AI makes open-source principles more relevant than ever. Recently, she served as President of Open Source Matters Inc. (Joomla), where one of the highlights of her tenure was leading the project’s recognition as a UN Digital Public Good. She also served as President of the Open Website Alliance, uniting WordPress, Drupal, TYPO3, and Joomla. Maria holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester, UK, and speaks four languages: English, Greek, German, and Italian.
