Mark works on Open Source database Neo4j helping create the Aura SaaS platform. Previously a Product Manager at AWS, he held roles in the EC2 Enterprise Team and responsibility for Open Source in AWS Marketplace. With 25+ years in software Mark has had spells at Oracle, Red Hat, MySQL and Canonical, been an OpenStack Board member back in the fun days and led several user groups and meetups.

Mark is based in Ipswich UK where he lives with his wife, 2 teenage daughters, 10 yr old son, a dog, a cat and an old motorcycle. When not working or acting as a teenage taxi service Mark likes to walk along the Suffolk coast exploring different routes and pubs along the way.
