Michael is an Australian who has spent 30 years in the IT industry split living between the UK and Sydney, Australia. He is now a permanent resident of the UK. Michael has held various sales and sales leadership roles in a number of organisations including CA Technologies, in the UK and Australia, SAP and Oracle. Michael has also been responsible for establishing a number of EMEA start-ups including Anthropics, enCommerce (sold to Entrust) Thor Technologies (sold to Oracle); and has now been running the EMEA operations for Lightbend for 4.5 years.
