Being self-taught and sensing patterns, free and open source was always the simplest and most effective approach, although it wasn’t a popular view in 1995!

I couldn’t help but act on what I discovered; wanting others to feel the benefits of FLOSS, I founded OpusVL in 1999, and 2014, OpenUK, which I
am pleased to see flourishing.

Now I lead communities, foundations and projects, working in detail and the big picture.

Next for me is delivering greater impact, working with others to drive change in open digital with a European focus across health, governance and business.
