OpenUK Ticket Sale Terms and Conditions
Your purchase of a ticket to OpenUK’s ‘State of Open Con 25’ conference on 4 & 5 February 2025 in London (“Conference”), and your subsequent participation in the Conference, is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Your ticket to the Conference is sold by OpenUK (We) a company limited by guarantee number 11209475, with registered office at 8 Coldbath Square, London EC1R 5HL, mailto:admin@openuk.uk
- All tickets are issued when payment of cleared funds is received and are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend the Conference, you may transfer your ticket to another person provided that you notify us in advance with such person’s name and contact information.
- OpenUK may, in its sole discretion, change the speakers, content, venue, programme or any other aspect of the Conference at any time and for any reason. We will endeavour to provide you with notice via our website of any changes.
- If, due to reasons beyond OpenUK’s control or where unforeseen circumstances arise, it is not possible or reasonably practicable for the Conference to carry on as planned, OpenUK may cancel or postpone the Conference, change the format of the Conference from in-person to online or make any other changes to the Conference as it sees fit. In the unlikely event that OpenUK cancels the Conference, OpenUK shall issue to you a full refund for the ticket.
- You agree that your data may be used by OpenUK and its agents, contractors and other third parties[ 4] in accordance with OpenUK’s Privacy Policy solely for the delivery of this Conference.
- Your image and voice may recorded in photographic and AV formats, and used by OpenUK, its sponsors and partners for future event promotion, on social media and in audio and video recordings of the conference tracks, interviews and otherwise across the site which may be recorded and shared via our websites and other digital formats both during and after the event. If you do not consent please ensure that you collect an identifier (red lanyard) from the registration desk and ensure that you wear this in a visible fashion throughout the event. Ensuring that this is worn by you and is visible at all times throughout the event is your sole responsibility and OpenUK cannot be held responsible for any photographic, audio or video footage of you should you fail to comply with this. Please sit in demarcated areas in the conference tracks.
- Your attendance at the Conference is subject to OpenUK’s Code of Respect, Competition Policy, and Sustainability Policy. Where We consider that your conduct at the Conference is unacceptable for any reason, we may request that you leave the Conference and may prohibit your attendance at further OpenUK events. We will not issue a refund for your ticket in these circumstances.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England
