30 May 2023 – Newsletter

Zin Lwin
30th May 2023

The year is racing by and as we head into summer we have some exciting work ongoing at OpenUK.

Our Annual Survey, again pushes boundaries to establish data for the UK with respect to the impact of open source software, and the economy, not yet available for any other country, as we continue to reflect on the UK’s role as a centre of excellence in open source. You can play your part by:

– taking 15 minutes to complete our survey;

– sharing the survey on social media; and

– directly asking anyone based in the UK to complete the survey.

As we seek a clear snapshot of open source in the UK, we are looking for people working in public and private sector, in tech and outside it, and also including our colleagues who are currently out of work.

The survey outputs will shape our Phases 2-4 State of Open: The UK in 2023 reports.

Please do support our work and complete the survey and share! Thank you.
