OpenUK Activities

Our projects and activities promote open source software, hardware, data and other open activities. They are made up of a number of Work Streams, each with a Chair or Co-Chair and each sits under one of the 3 Pillars, Community, Legal and Policy and Learning. There is a Chief “Pillar” Officer, for each who supports the work of the Work Stream.

The Chairs have been appointed for 2020 and will be elected for one year terms by the Committees from 2021 onwards.

The Committees are responsible for setting their own purpose, goals and activities for the year ahead.

We welcome participants with relevant skills to join our community by participating in a Committee.

Our Committees meet face-to-face and remotely on a regular basis.

If you believe that you have the right skills to join one of our Committees, please apply to join the appropriate mailing list for that Committee.

We collaborate thanks to NextCloud which is hosted by our in-kind sponsor OpusVL.

Our activities are governed by OpenUK Code of Respect.
