Individuals under the age of 25 on 30 March 2020 who have demonstrated outstanding work in an individual capacity, either forging ahead and offering a unique contribution, or by long, diligent and possibly uncelebrated service in the field of open source.
This can be any contribution including project leadership, code, documentation, artwork, support, promotion or encouraging open practices from others.

Open Source Hardware – company or project
Projects and organisations being openly-licensed hardware projects of any size.
The judges will consider novel contributions to the state of the art, projects with wide adoption or impact as well as community and collaboratively developed projects, whether commercial or not.
Open Source Software – company or project
Projects and organisations being openly-licensed software projects of any and all sizes.
The judges will consider novel contributions to the state of the art, projects with wide adoption or impact as well as community and collaboratively developed projects, whether commercial or not..
Open Source Data – company or project
Projects and organisations being openly-licensed data management, machine learning projects and open data sources.
The judges will consider novel contributions to the state of the art, projects with wide adoption or impact as well as community and collaboratively developed projects, whether commercial or not.
Open Source Software in Finance and Fintech – company or project
Submissions must be open source (openly licensed) projects, standards or collaborative initiatives of any size that help further the use and adoption of open source to solve common challenges or explore new opportunities for collaboration in the financial services industry.
The judges will consider novel contributions to projects with wide adoption or impact as well as community and collaboratively developed projects, whether commercial or not.
